Time for a contest! Guess what coin my 65th silver coin will be...

My one-year best silver coin total stands at 64. Right now I'm sitting at 63, with good chances of surpassing that before the end of the year.

What better time for someone to win a Mercury dime (from my personal collection, not found)! What you are guessing is what the date and denomination will be for my 65th silver coin of 2012. That would be the coin that sets my one-year silver coin record.

So, let's do this by date and denomination, and not design. I can see some issues coming up if Person A guesses a 1944 Merc and Person B guesses a 1949 Roosie. If I pull out a '46 Roosie, one could argue a roosie that's a few years off is much closer than a merc design that's only 2 years off.

So, in this case, the winner would be the one closest to the date.

Contest ends whenever the 65th coin comes up (IF it ever comes up). Winner gets a regular ol' merc mailed to them. Max of two winners possible.
