At Fenway, kids first ball game... Middlebrooks Home Run ball

At the game , 4th row just into the grass past third. My sons been trying to get a ball from the ball girl.

Will Middlebrooks hits a blast to tie the game in the 7th. The ball bounces off the left field Sports Authority sign, back into the field. They roll the ball over to the ball girl and she looks for him, he walks down 3 steps, the crowd is still going nuts from the blast, and now Connor is throwing high fives to everyone.

This is their first game ever.

Such a proud day as a dad!!!! Priceless.

Edit: Even though the Sox lost we had a blast. Really glad my kids where able to enjoy such a great experience at their first MLB game.

AWESOME MIKE! Man, one look at your son's face and you KNOW he is never going to forget that moment. But did ya have to take 'em all the way to Boston to see a game? SURELY you are not filling your kid's head with "the Red Sox are a good team to root for", are you? LOL

So glad that your family is having a fun time. How long are you staying in Boston? Did you drive up?

Awesome!!! As much as they're stinking, it's still great to catch a game at the park.

I was at the game last night when Middlebrooks hit the first pitch out with his 3 run shot!

Also got to meet Big Papi's dad down on the concourse LoL. Always a great time at Fenway!!!
  • Fenway Park is always great to visit. I have been taking my daughter every year. We went last Thursday. She is now 27 and it still is the best night of the year for me.

Very cool. Glad your son got the hookup for the homer. Glad they didn't win though image

Do they still serve Fenway Franks up there? That was one of the best ballpark hotdogs I've ever had

Glad the kids had an awesome time at their first game at Fenway!!! Getting a ball is a thrill at any age especially a homerun.

At least the Red Sox were in the game. I just got home from the Mets game, talk about horrible. Glad I left before the 8th inning and double digits.

Visiting Fenway should be on every baseball fan's bucket list.

Great to hear y'all had a blast!
