Ebay shipping - smaller labels. Is this a problem?

I use Google chrome. The last couple of shipping labels I have printed are just a tad bit smaller than normal. Then, I noticed a message at the top of the "print label" page that says this -

"Your shipping label may print out smaller than usual because you're using the Google Chrome web browser. If this happens, please go to the shipping label page to reprint the label within 24 hours or use a different browser, such as Firefox."

If it prints out just a little bit smaller, will it hurt anything (specifically the bar code)? It actually fits on the bubble mailer a little better. It might be a half inch to one inch smaller on each side.

The smaller labels work just fine. eBay has been tweaking the labels recently, I think to conserve ink for sellers.

I would make sure that it prints out the full normal size because the smaller bar code might not get picked up threw the Post.

I print many of my labels at 85% size, and I've never had a problem.

Hmmm. I never thought of that. Thanks, guys.

    That would save tape, too.

I shrink mine to 80% of full size every time I ship.
    Never had a problem.

Thanks to those that suggested the smaller size labels (I use regular paper and tape to the thick envelope).

I have noticed that my recent paypal shipping labels has been lighter than in the past and I even had a new black ink cartridge in my printer.

I once asked the lady at my post office if the smaller label would cause any problem and she said it would not. So I don't worry about it much anymore, but make sure not to have any bunched up tape or anything over the label that would cause the barcode to scan differently than intended

Firefox is printing the labels small for me as well. I have a horrible postal woman (leaves boxes on the curb, throws boxes at my front door, won't deliver boxes that are out for delivery if its cold or raining because she'd have to walk 30 ft up to my front door); I confronted her and she says it's because one time there was a large black dog in my yard growling at her. Not that is isn't possible, but an excuse I'm sure and what about all of the other times she's mishandled my packages? My neighbor kept parking on the curb between our two houses, blocking a straight entrance into my mailbox...she left a note telling me I need to stop putting my car in her way and didn't even leave the mail. Total B.

Anyway, I put a few of the small labels in the mailbox and she wouldn't accept them. Took them to the PO and they said she should have taken them. I hate my postal lady; honestly, I think she's just racist because even before the problems, she wasn't pleasant and "joking" complained that I get a lot of mail.
