miscut value 1964 Rookie Stars Braves Phil Roof

Hello,
I was looking for some help in determining if my card is worthless or has some value.
It is a 1964 Rookie Stars Braves Phil Roof/Nieko #541, when looking it up it looks to be values at $600 with PSA9, I found an auction where a PSA10 sold for $8700.
My card looks to be in very good shape, it is in a hard snap case.
The problem is it is miscut where the left part of the card starts right at the line of the photos.
Does this completely take all the value away or is there still something left?
I not knowing much about cards had planned on sending the card in to PSA but read they will not grade miscut cards.
thanks for any info.
Joe

I beleive I have some good news and some bad news for you.
If there is still some white border up & down the entire card, you have what we call OC, or off centered card.
If there is any place where there is no border, than you have a MC, or miscut, which is bad news.
Also, check the back, if any printed material is cut off, you would still have a MC
OC will knock the value of a PSA card down about 2 grades.
MC would knock the card down even more plus you may have a harder time finding a buyer.
Without seeing the card, the grade would be pretty hard to guess, just try to compare a picture of other graded cards. Take into consideration that 3rd party grading is very strict. What you may think is near mint could easily be graded VG or a 3.
One idea is find a person that could use it for autographing. After all, it is a Hall of Famer rookie card!
There is a very thin line of white left on the left side, the back is completely there except a very small bit of the white TOPPS logo at the top, no text is cut off.
I may just throw it on ebay and see what happens....

<< <i>You have fallen into the trap that many of us did when we first discovered grading and looked at the 9 and 10 prices. >>
I did, guilty as charged!
Welcome to the boards.
