1954 Topps canadian grey backs...

How much demand is there for these cards and is there a premium?
Was looking on Ebay but didnt see much listed.
Any info would be great

I have the 54 Mathews Gray Back. They're not commonly known, and it took me quite awhile to find one.

I think there may still be a lot of them in regular PSA slabs as I don't think PSA really knew about them too early on. When I sent in my Mathews they slabbed it in a regular holder at first...I had to call them before it shipped for them to catch it.

Anyhow, those cards are really tough. They do demand a premium, though I paid an affordable 100.00 for my PSA 1 Mathews.

I checked out the pop report and not too many of these have been graded. Mostly mid to lower grades as well. 1 of my contacts in Canada has some
Of the grey backs. Not sure on condition till I see them or how much hes asking..

It took me 3-4 years to find mine. Do all the grey backs say "Printed in U.S.A"?

I believe they all do say Printed in the U.S.A. as mine does too.

They are very hard to come by, and it seems as if the backs vary slightly in terms of the shade of gray.

Do all the cards pulled from the recent wax find in Canada have gray backs? They were the Candian 4 card pack variety.
