MY NATIONAL EXPERIENCE WAS.....

WONDERFUL !!! after recent heart attack and surgery was glad to be able to attend...although i needed a cane to help with my balance, some painkillers and i was ready......went friday and broke the room into 2 imaginary quadrants to make sure we got to see everything..3 1/2 hours later it was closing time and still had not seen many tables in that section...My main goal was some 69 football ungraded to finish 3 sets i was working on and some graded Hank Aarons i just decided to collect.. great Colt stuff for my brother too look at and I bought a couple of items for him that he enjoyed.......Sat founbd us at the show from 10:30 till 5:30.......a bit too much for me but did cover almost everything else......I FOUND very few deals but did buy about 200 69 topps football and about 10 graded cards and one super 53 topps minoso.....alot of dealers were way way out of my financial availability but did enjoy seeing all this great stuff...i guess i should have looked at more raw stuff but was afraid of any doctoring.......p.s.a deserves a big thank you for rectifying a problem i had, even though i am not a member......two great dinners at LP STEAMERS and BO's, where we saw Tommy Lasorda and gooden.......wished i knew how to post pics, but it never works out....thanks for reading...your reporter..ivan

<< <i>Great report! Did you notice any high quality 69 Basketball by chance? >>
I noticed Heritage auctioned off the #1 69 basketball set in the registry. The only Gem Mint Alicindor RC which was on display as well as the whole set. Went for a shade over $200K. Didn't you win it?
