OK, so I checked it out. I liked the site and selection.

    Then I saw this.

I signed up for the express purpose of bidding on it, and I won. Not without a little competition, but I got this coin at a price I was happy with. It is not in hand yet as of this post, but assuming all goes well with the shipping, Great Collections will have me as a new member of their fan club. Their world and ancient categories are rather small, but not tiny. For all that, I thought the selection was good. Slabbed ancients is not something you typically see a lot of on a single site. Even eBay varies in that regard. Plus, unlike eBay, all of these coins are very well-imaged. There's a consistency you wouldn't get when you look at auctions from dozens of different sellers. I was impressed, personally. There's a 10% buyer's fee but I didn't feel that to be a deterrent, and factored it into my bidding. (Ten percent is also a nice round figure that is easy to spontaneously calculate in one's head.)
