    I really like the Mexican designs! Nice coin! How long do you think it will be until there are a larger collector base? I personally think that this will be the next country to explode within the next few years. -Dan

    Hard to tell what the denomination is from the image, but if it's the 1956 1 Centavo (the 16mm coin weighting 2g), the mintage is around 11 million, so any added value for the color would only apply to gem BU pieces in my opinion.

    Richard Long (a now-retired dealer since the 1960s) has been predicting this since the 1970s. Personally, I don't see it happening in our lifetimes.
