NATIONAL update!

Spent 6 hours at the National today with my 10 year old son and a friend with his son. Between the 2 of us we spent $750.00 at BBCE opening packs. Bought 6 packs of 1979 Topps hockey with no luck. 5 packs of 1985 OPC hockey and did pull a lemieux roookie(grade pending at PSA). 6 packs of 1985 topps hockey and pulled a Lemieux rookie(grade pending as well at PSA).

Steve was very busy and sold all of his 1986 Fleer basketball packs and boxes as well as his 1979 topps hockey. He made an absolute killing! One Jordan rookie pulled Steve said.

PSA was crazy busy and was not able to grade my submissions until Sunday so i have to drive the hour back to Baltimore and get them tomorrow.
An older man and his wife gave my son a 1985 PSA 8 Mark Mcguire rookie for no reason which i thought was pretty nice. For the most part the show was a success.

Thanks for the info. Wish you luck on those grades. Always amazes me that people are willing to pay almost $400.00 for packs of '86.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
