Autopen machines and the sports card market

I do not know anything about autopen machines, except that they are widely used by important people to sign multiple autographs. I believe even Barack Obama
used it recently to sign multiple items while he was away. So I do know that they are a very popular machine.
Next, I see here on ebay that a guy who has a history of selling cards is also offering a used one for sale.........

I am in no way insinuating that this seller is using this machine for his own benefit. However, I have a question. Can someone get a real Mickey Mantle autograph
on a baseball card, and use this machine to accurately do other fake autographs on other Mantle cards ? Thanks

You can tell the difference between an autopen and a real autograph.
