<< <i>PCGS will put that coin in a Genuine holder, there is a big spot of active PVC at K-5 on the obverse. >>
below the date there at like " 5 o clock" or 135 degrees ?

Yeah, sorry, K-5 is fancy coin-geek speak for "5:00", between the bust and the rim.

<< <i>I'll take a stab at MS62 although I'm really clueless Teddy! Very cool look though. >>
i'm totally clueless too...merely want it in a graded holder is all...vf to low ms...doesn't matter
hopefully not bagged for pvc
i didn't see it
to scattered of a coin to focus on anything
watersport knows his stuff
pcgs doesn't grade these well at all
i'll update when results are in
huge thank you to all
Also think a bit of the green goo.... acetone soak.
PCGS is tough on the eye appeal thing.... technical grade might be 63-64 but they will ding it a bit for woodgrain. Aslo migh BN it instead of RB.
The XF coin in the link, has some wear on the wheat ears, that gives it an XF/AU grade.......
Just my thoughts.

Why ?
Unless there is an interest in increasing the company that grades its stocK price.
Steve
Edited to say that rb is doubtful, but noticed something about the 9 in the date...is it repunched?
<< <i>Was this coin really sent in for grading ?
Why ?

this was sent in merely for personal core collection uniformity
i like my coins pcgs holdered
total $$$ loss proposition...no lie
still waiting for grade or no grade
Lance.
<< <i>Compare it to this coin....As reported on another thread PCGS sees the heavy woodgrain as negitve from the eye-appeal standpoint.[/i

by the way
this was in an economy submission entered 8-1...for those wondering on current turn-around time
I guessed XF45, which would have made it a $5 coin. Instead, it's worth more than twice that!
Of course, woodies command a premium.
Lance.
Gotta love a Woody!!!
Sent this one in raw and it received a 64BN label.
<< <i>Thats a great coin and an excellent grade !!! Woody's...either you love them or you don't......I really like that coin :-) It's a 28-d folks, look at the strike on that thing !! >>
The '28-D is mine and a 45. Teddy's '25 is a 58!
Sorry...I wasn't trying to turn this into a "let's see your woodies" thread. I (wrongly) guessed Teddy's would grade about the same as my '28-D.

sweet woody's there lance and swampboy...amazing grade too swamp...
a side reason i had sent in my woody too was in hopes it would of helped this buffalo get graded
with hopes 2 woodies on the same submission would aide both
my thoughts of those 2 on a submission didn't pay off though as they bodybagged this buff
i'll try it again later as this was 2nd attempt of this buffalo
