Any Value To This Cent or Nickel

Does anybody have any ideal how this cent came to be? Was it multiple strikes at the mint? Altered after leaving the mint? etc. and whether or not there is any value to it? Also, the 1953 S/S nickel. I have not found another one like it on line or any info on it. Photos of both below thanks to a couple kind people.

you need to host the image on a site.

maybe your personal web site space
or on a picture hosting site like photbucket.

you need to paste in the IMG info from a web hosting site like photobucket to show a picture.

upload by browsing your files
then
using the 2nd line down
copy that...then paste directly into this body of text

Your cent was altered post-Mint, by someone hammering another cent into this one, so it has no value. Sorry.

Thanks to all for your answers. I wasn't sure so I thought I'd ask.
Anyway, I do have a 1953 S/S nickel that I am thinking about grading if it is worth it. What do you all think?
