Has everyone gone to sleep?

It's damn quiet around here. I saw the Bowers-Stacks lots in their showroom yesterday. Some really neat stuff.

I slept in until 7:30 this morning, haven't done that in a long time.

I rarely watch TV anymore, but did see the Olympics opening last night. The Queen looked bored with the whole thing.

As for Stacks. well, I didn't see anything much of interest in my sphere.

I'll probably do lot viewing on Thursday. I'm excited about one piece that I doubt will be a conflict piece between us.

Like many others, I've been watching the Olympics largely non-stop since last night: TV, iPad, iPhone. Isn't technology great? image

The queen did seem bored and unexcited. Maybe she has "been there done that". Nice ceremony.

Some very nice Talers and multiple Taler pieces on Stacks. May go for one or two based on what I saw and then on to Heritage.

    Has everyone gone to sleep?

Three of the kids are napping, and the baby is at my feet in a bouncy chair. I don't often get a chance to drop by here, except late at night.

I woke up at 8 today and went fishing. Caught a small lake trout (10lb). Now relaxing in the middle of Canadian wilderness.

2 orders with PCGS right now. First one is a crossover and should be finalized early next week. I'll post results when grades get posted.

Give her a break, she is 86 years old and doing pretty good for her age - even more considering she has Charles as her daughter and heir. VIVAT REGINA!

I too have an order at PCGS, submitted early June. Two Biafra crowns, hoping they will both grade MS. Two Bermuda triangle proofs. A Yemen lion proof, and a bunch of other gems.

Could not afford TruView but will definitely take photos and upload.

They sleep just enough to get there in time on their own image

Are you coming in for lot viewing, Andy?

It has been awfully sleepy around here. I think I just saw a tumbleweed roll by.

D'you really suppose the Olympics have something to do with it? Should I hold off on listing stuff on eBay? Hmm.

NO! List your things and post the links here so I can be the only bidder!!! image

In all seriousness, bidding on eBay has not slowed at all. In fact I believe the opposite is true. Many folks have been posting olympic-related items to unload from past games' souvenires, which I can't blame them ... anyway now is probably the best time to list stuff versus two weeks from now when the hubub is over and SCHOOL HAS RESUMED.... all those kids going back to school with dues and fees and homework and carpools... guaranteed to distract the parents from their weekly eBaying ....
