Paypal Refund Question Situation

Not too long ago I won a few eBay auctions. As usual I paid immediately. Within a couple of minutes I realized that I sent the money from the wrong account. I then sent each of the sellers an email telling them the situation and asked if they could refund the payment and I would pay again from the correct account. Each of them had no problem with it and issued the refund. Paypal has decided to put these refunds in a temporary hold status so that they can 'review' them before releasing the funds to me? My question, is why would they have to do that? If a seller refunds money (less than 30 minutes after the payment was made) why would an ACH transfer still happen and who gives them the right to hold my money for a little while longer?

Has this happened to anyone else?

BTW, if the sellers are on these boards..... thank you for doing that for me.
I'm building a 1968 and a 1970 Topps set. I have lots of 1970s and 1960s to offer in trade.

Paypal reviews a lot of transactions that seemingly are ok. But sell a fake Jordan RC or something like that and its ok
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY

PayPal needs to be regulated as a bank. They pull too much BS with people's money.
  • any time you move money around, it is tracked or needs to be tracked because of new law from our friendly folks at the anti terrorist org. refund or not you moved money around and it moved again then againfrom 2 accounts, so they have to look it over to see if everything is kosher,,, big brothers doing its job at your expense,,, true,
