WTB, 1890 GB 6d

A friends daughter is getting married and asked if I had a 6d for her to put in her shoe? Is this a British tradition?? Any way they wanted one from 1990 (her birth yr) but I told them they were not made after 1967. So I suggested one from 100yrs before her birth yr (1890). However I don't have one. Any one have a lower grade one for sale??

Not sure where the tradition started, heard its for good luck/fortune. When I got married a member of the forum sent me one and etold me that. I still have ours in the wedding album as a nice keepsake of the great people here. Ill check tonight if I have one, I should. It would be for free, call it a gift from the forum.

I dont have one I have a 88 89 91 92...So if you cant find the year you need I have many others. Sorry if I jump in on anyone sale.
