Why are so many Clemente rookies OC?

Is it the placement on the sheet? If so where would it have been to cause this?

Always been curious.

Thanks!

Scott

Recently discovered fact: The Topps employee assigned to cut the Clemente cards had a left leg that was three inches shorter than his right leg.

    I hope this helps! image

My guess is that the Clemente card is at the edge of the sheet.

Its a problem that has plagued many of the Hi numbers in that set. Clemente, Gene Freese, Billy Consolo are just a few that command premiums when nicely centered.

The odd thing was that her name was ironically, Ilene.
