Strike-through or PMD on this (thick) Norse Medal?

Seeking opinions. I do not see these Norse Medals with any errors, at least I haven't found any and came across this and was curious what the majority thinks. Thanks for looking.

Funny, having worked in foundries and such, I never even thought this. Good observation. I suppose I now wonder, has anyone found counterfeit Norse Medals before? Any stories behind counterfeit Norse Medals to be heard or read? Thanks for your response, LVT!
