Ever get a call from the Mint...

Asking you if you would like to participate in a meeting with people from the Mint and other collectors who buy from the mint. I got that call today. Will know more when I get home later and listen to the machine.

Tom.

Nope, but I would jump at it in a heartbeat to give them my honest, and yet respectful, opinion of the BS they are doing and how they are doing it.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Either it's a sales scam or they are inviting everyone to their booth at the ANA

I got a box from them yesterday. Closest thing to a call was the UPS guy asking for my signature. He really doesn't say much. I know the routine. Tell them it would be nice to see silver and gold drop there like it does for the rest of us.

I've participated on a focus panel for the US Mint and it did not address customer satisfaction with regard to ordering or dealing with the order line or current products.

It had to do with what folks liked as far as coin finishes. Standard, Satin, Proof, Reverse Proof. At the time, there was no reverse proof coin available but I think the group I participated in helped in some small way to get the first Reverse Proofs that the US Mint has ever offered. (2006)

Focus Panels are NOT the proper forum for venting issues with the US Mint, its ordering subcontractor or the products it currently offers.

I received a $75 payment for my participation.

The panel was not conducted by the US Mint but was a subcontracted company which handles focus groups and surveys. I'm trying to locate the name but since that was the last (and only) group I participated in, it was pointless to keep the info around.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
