I will be happy to see them, but I think I will be sinking as I have been working the set backwards for the most part. But it doesnt matter all that much as completion is the ultimate goal.

I look forward to seeing them, some of the weights will be very interesting.

Just Got Home and had a Email from BJ stateing it Would Happen in a Couple of Weeks. I Emailed them a couple of Days ago asking when the Merc weighting was going to Happen and also put a Very Friendly Reminder that We now have 50 Sets Registered. Well anyway it looks like we will finally get to see what will happen in reguards too the Over Dates and the Micro S.

Why can' t they leave well enough alone. I can't complain about the current system. How does everyone else feel about weight systems??

      Pat:
The Way Most of Us are putting Our Sets Together I don't think the Weighting will cause Problems. Some changes could occur but Personally I could care less. The Weighting IMO will be Somewhat Fun to Look at to See if PCGS really has Got it Correct. Pricing has not Caught up to Some of the harder to find Dates within the Series so if they Use the Pop report for the weighting I believe it will be Worthless. Pop Reports Tell Nothing. Only the Collector trying to Find a Certain Date can give You the Correct perspective about his Series.
My Prime Example would be the 16D. Any Day of the Week you can find one of these For Sale on Ebay or a Web Site. Now Go Find these Dates 23S...24S...25D...25S...27S...27D. Which Should be weighted Higher??
Hell. Did I ramble Enough on this ? Any way I do not think Weighting is Something to Get Upset About.image

            1. I wish they would leave well enough alone! But they are not going to. As far as the overdates and the micro, that will only be in the set with them listed as part of the set, I will remain in the set that doesnt require them.(unless of course, I manage to pick them up later< I traded both my overdates)image

I am with Dennis on this issue. For me the overdate and micro S are not part of the set. But I will keep playing here anyway.

I concur with Pat--while I wish PCGS would leave well enough alone, but weighting or no weighting, I plan on buying more Mercs and harassing the rest of you guys!
