obverse model for the buffalo nickel

so i compiled this lil composition...it is very controversial if this chief's portrait was used...even james e fraser proclaimed he comprised from 3 portraits which he remembers only 2 but forgot the 3rd...so for accurateness this may not be right...rumor had it our govt despised this chief in fear of an uprising...so i like him...and love the controversy

"feel free to discuss if you care" on who james modeled the obverse from...
sioux chief "iron tail" and cheyenne chief "two moons" and undisclosed chief "?" or the controversial chief "two guns white calf"

buffalo nickel image used...courtesy of mr.d of great toning...to me most beautiful example...thank you dick (mr.d)

enjoy if you do
