Help With 1847 Large cent

Sorry about the picture does any one know what Newcomb number this would be

there is a clear u shape of metal comming out the bottom of the 7





I found this N-15 From Goldberg Auction at long beach 01/30/2011
It matches Mine 100%

the only one i see that matches that spot is the n-15 r4+

i won't say for certain based on the images though as I don't attribute coins on the record without seeing the obv/rev full and clear

I'd say from your hazy, small picture that it's most likely
an N-15, with repunching at the base of the "1" and
at the bottom right of the "7".
There may also be some verticle lines (die lines) behind
the words "ONE CENT" on the rev. This rev. was used on
N-10, 36 & 37.

Bigger clear images of both sides would always help.
