Which Wax box to rip? Help

I am contemplating ripping some vintage wax. I have most years and brands from 1979-1993. Any advice would be great. Lets here opinions on best bang for the buck or best wax to rip for highest yielding value.

I'd say 1980. You'd have a decent shot at a nice Henderson or two. Of course, it would be better to pull a nicely centered Ozzie Smith rookie if you went with the 1979 box, but the odds are very heavy that it would be off-center if you did pull one.

'83 has the best shot at HOF rookies. A centered '79 Ozzie could bring some serious $$$ but the odds are quite against it.
    Good luck!

    All of the above.

I noticed the "new" definition of vintage is -1980.

  • Yea, I meant older wax. Sorry guys as a vintage collector I should have known. I was debating 1992 Bowman, 1979 OPC, 1985 Fleer, 1984 Donruss, 1982 Topps, or 1983 Topps all wax.

How about opening the 1984 Donruss? My favorite set of the 80s.
Second choice is 1985 Fleer, another beautiful set from that decade.
