    I agree with Doug, your odds are better with the old flips.

    Collecting:
    Any unopened Baseball cello and rack packs and boxes from the 1970's and early 1980s.

    I always say buy the pack not the holder, but that said, generally speaking the older silver flips with serial numbers starting with 100 through 103 are more reliable than the later designs. However, this is just a general rule, and there are plenty of good packs in newer holders and I'm sure some bad packs in old holders, too. I do believe that most collectors will now submit to PSA instead of GAI today.


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
