how do you post a picture

I would like to post some pictures of my morgans that are on my Registry set. But I am terrible with computers. Can someone tell me how to post a picture?

Download into picture file on computer.
Go to a hosting site, such as shutterfly.com. (or I have my own website for such at "coinface.com" which I could do for you.
After a photo is hosted into a website (storage place that has "URL" which is a technical term for "online address of image" It starts like this http://www.--------- this is getting complex already, I can tell.
Once the image is hosted on that site, just put your cursor on the photo. Right click with your mouse and scroll to "properties". At this juncture you're copying the URL address.
My fingers are getting tired. and I'm sure I got something screwed up.... Could I get back to you ?

It will bring up the following dialog box:
For the next part, you will have to host your images somewhere. You will then paste the direct link to your picture in the box. I use Photobucket:
Your image should appear in the message box as such after clicking ok:
Click preview message, and voila:
With the IMG tags just put it where you want in the post.
Also, nice Registry set !!!
go to tinypic.com
browse your files and upload
using the 2nd line down
copy that...then paste directly into this box
try the utter way...then try tinypic n see
so easy i can...i can even post images...

<< <i>When you use the little picture thingy and paste the image URL into it, it always seems to want to put it it the last spot your cursor was [which isn't always where you want it it]. You then have to move it to where you want it. >>
Which is why I showed the copy paste of the IMG tagged link from the hosting site.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

With photobucket, you don't need to use the little picture box. Just put your cursor on the pic you want to post and a drop down menu appears. Just click on the image code choice and simply paste the pic where you want it to go. With ImageShack you need to right click on the pic and copy the image location/URL and then paste it into the "picture box". If you screw up, you need to "fix it" by copying and pasting the image tagged link in the spot that you want it. One reason among others that I am phasing out ImageShack. The picture posting software ATS didn't always like it either.
