My first order with KSA

My collection is mostly hockey, so I thought it would be cool to get some cards encapsulated by KSA, Canada's best card grading service.
Even though I know they are not as strict as PSA, I thought it would be cool to have the Canadian company grade some of my cards that were made in Canada.

Well, two things suprised me.

#1....Their company has their own EBAY store that sells KSA cards graded by the company.

#2.....It cost me $14.00 per card to get a few cards graded.

$14 per card with 10 day turnaround


I did not find anything cheaper on their site. Did I miss something ??? Is there a cheaper service with them ?


I may decide to get more cards graded with this company. I know the resale value in the future will not be great, but I don't really care. I just
like having the Canadian flag/company grade some of my hockey cards. But if their cheapest price is $10.00 a card, then perhaps I won't. PSA will
grade your cards for half the price, and give you a better return for your money.

Selling cards they grade sounds like a conflict of interest to me... That would be like 4sharp corners and psa merging

I've only had one KSA card.. It was a KSA 8 Warren Moon 83 Jogo and it crossed to a psa 6. I do think its a pretty cool idea to have some of your canadian cards graded by them though.

Just my opinion, but selling cards graded by yourself puts you no higher than the alphabet graders that appear on ebay...

KSA sucks! Unless your name is Jason Martin, you won't get a better rate with them.
These guys charge $7 a card or $999 for unlimited grading lol.
Either way, you're just throwing away your money.
