To keep this coin related, post a coin you use as a ball marker. image

Any really nice courses in and around Philly??

The classic OT post. Just add "and the ANA" to the title of any OT thing you want to discuss.

Kinda like reading a fortune cookie, you know, there is that mandatory suffix you are supposed to add to every fortune cookie.

I once hit a wedge off of the top of the Urban Outfitters Building on Walnut Street into Rittenhouse Park. It may be frowned upon.

I know Trump National is near Cherry Hill NJ and isn't that far away from Philly. I never played it but I heard it is tough.

Was it that obvious?? Or are you just that astute?? image

I guess it's safer to do like everyone else and just put it in the title. "OT: Blah, Blah Blah, etc........"

White Clay Creek comes to mind.

As does Pine Valley, if you know the right people.

I can't afford to buy balls to replace the ones I lose much less a ball marker. I just us a broken tee, got plenty of those.

    Hi Lakes,

There are several great sporting clays courses in the area. If you insist on golf, my friend rec's Glen Mills (open to public). Guess I won't see you in Alaska. image

Ahhh... my home town. I'm not a golfer but I can tell you the only reason to carry a club in most parts of the city would be for your own protection. There are good areas and baaaaad. All the courses I saw at a quick glance on that best list are in the burbs which are quite nice.

Definitely play Glen Mills - great course with a great back story. It is associated with Glen mills school for troubled youth, and the course provides work opportunities for boys at the school.

Back nine is just a great time -- you'll love it.

Why not go to a good driving range with a good putting grounds? if you go to an 18 hole course then why did you go to the ANA show in the first place?

Do they use a coin to flip for who goes first in a sudden death playoff?

Boiler78 and I do it at every convention - tee off at 6AM, get to the bourse opening by 10AM.

After the last broooha over the early birds, I don't waste my money anymore.

No serious golfer could ever write such a sentence.
