Very cool 1966 pack on ebay

There is a 1966 panini pack GIA 6 on ebay. As someone who collects these oddball cards I think this is really interesting. Luckily I'm not a pack collector and have to draw the line somewhere.. Otherwise I would be forking over a decent amount for this. I didn't think one of these would ever surface because I didn't think the demand was there. It should be a fun auction to watch and just wanted to post about it since its something I didn't think most people would be searching for but might find interesting

I am not a pack collector but I had to place a bid.....this is great, but a large set so you are likely to get commons i would imagine.

    Very cool!

Someone should get some of the modern Panini packs graded and see how those do.

Just hope the packs that get graded don't have a Tyson in them!

I agree that the chances of pulling a ali are very slim. The seller is doing his best pump up the item.. The value to me is just in the of the sealed pack as a collectible. I'm shocked that one of these surfaced. In the sellers defense I would have never found the pack if he didn't put cassius clay in the title.. So in this case I didn't mind the spam in my search.

Does PSA slab these? You can definitely see through the 86 packs. A Tyson on top psa slabbed pack would a heck of a pack with stars on top.

  • Hello, thanks for your post about the 1966 Panini pack GAI 6. I'm zenbaseball and listed it on ebay. I saw your comment and also saw you're looking for a 1968 Mira Palmer and Laver. I have both PSA-graded cards. Please contact me through my ebay auction. Thanks. Bob

Bob (zenbaseball) is great to deal with. I've sold to him and bought from him. In fact, I just received the '65 Bancroft Arnold Palmer today, Bob. Thank you for the first class service

The same seller also has a 1971 - 1972 panini pack with Cassius clay on the back! The price is way out of my range but I think it's really cool that these are surfacing
