Here's a Walker half set I worked on for almost a year.
I had my fun with it but now it's time to let somebody else finish it. I got a good start, though. I'll wager you'd have a hard time finding a nicer circulated "starter set" anywhere else. There are some better date coins and I tried to pick nice original grey examples and build a well-matched set. There's no junk here. The 1921-S is slabbed (ANACS F12) and remains in its holder. (I never cracked that one out because I knew this was kind of a casual set that I might not finish).
Here is my original discussion thread. You can see there are still several common dates left to fill, and a few challenging ones as well. I've gotten you "over the hump" with 26 of the 51 coins needed, so now the rest is up to you if you choose to complete it.
First I will offer this set in its entirety, as a single lot, with the like-new Dansco #7160 album and all, including the slabbed 1921-S coin.
If I get no takers I will then break off the slabbed 1921-S separately and then offer the album and its remaining 25 coins as one lot.
Only if I got no takers on the above two options would I consider breaking it up into 27 different lots later.
UPDATE *** ALL COINS AND ALBUM ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR INDIVIDUAL SALE *** Just make an offer, even if it's only cost + S&H
You'll notice I've put no prices here- only my costs- so you can make me an offer. All I ask is enough to ship and insure it and if possible put a tiny additional amount in my pocket. Note that this is not a distress sale, however, and no offers below my cost will be accepted. If I get no takers, I'll break it up instead, as mentioned (or just hang onto it).
Naturally there is a full return privilege as usual.
