I've heard of a coin with a hole. This is more like a hole with a coin.

Why does that even have bids? I mean a hole is something I avoid, but like teddy said thats just a washers at that point.

Tough date large cent, but, does this really qualify as a hole-filler

Some people collect large cents that were used as something else...that looks too uneven to be a washer, but that may be what it was. I like the gears better.

As for the 96, someone is going to have to attribute it. It would be very cool if it turns out to be an NC variety!
