Autos at Comic Con *Nerds Only*

I just got back from Comic Con in San Diego yesterday. If you're not familiar, it's 130,000 nerds converging at the SD Convention Center to see their favorite artists/actors/writers/etc and buy nerdy stuff. This was my second year, so I basically knew what to expect. I was a panelist this year, so I had a "Professional" pass that let me get just about as many places as possible. While I'm not an autograph hound, I did score a couple this year.
There is a movie coming out called Save the Date starring Alison Brie (Community, Mad Men), Lizzy Caplan, & Martin Starr (both from Party Down- an amazing and short lived show). After their panel was over, I managed to get their three autos as well as the producer as well on a mini-comic about the movie.
That was all of the autos I got, but I also hung out at a party with Amber Benson (Tara from Buffy) & Patrick Rothfuss (amazing author), met Felicia Day (The Guild, Dr. Horrible), and saw Matt Smith (Dr. Who), Lou Ferigno (The Hulk), Taylor Lautner (Twilight), The Soup Nazi (from Seinfeld), and found myself standing next to a quite haggard David Hasslehoff. Someone asked him if he wanted a cheeseburger... he was not amused.

He would NEVER be treated that way in Germany. At least not according to one well respected theory.
I love that short lived tv show Freaks and geeks. Lots of famous people today started there careers with that show. I highly recommend it for anyone who hasnt seen it. You can find some episodes on youtube or *cough - Torrents - ough*
Funny this is what my wife and sister say about me going to card shows.

Martin was super nice. He talked to my wife for a few minutes and took a photo with her.
Makes me happy to hear that. Now I like him even more.

Lizzy Caplan appeared in True Blood (Season2?) in her birthday suit, worth a view. She also bites the bullet in the SciFi movie Cloverfield.

I don't do the dress up thing. You really have to go all out when you dress up at CC. And my wife's hair is always (or has been for the past year) that color, it's not a ComicCon thing either.
