1780 Regensburg Taler + Colors

This raw piece crawled in from Germany. I tried imaging with different lighting.

In hand this is really colorful and appealing.

Sweet coin, popular reverse design. I like it. What do you think as to the grade, AU55 or possibly AU58?

Sweeeet! I also love the city views, its a lovely snapshot to a place back in time, a direct link to the past.
You can just imagine yourself crossing that bridge in 1780.

Hus - I actually did cross the same bridge a few months back. These city views are preserved in most German towns other than ones that were bombed in WWII.

EVP - AU55 was my best guess. In hand its a really nice toned piece over luster and if you look at the reverse absent wear on the high points the detail is there.

Marc - if I was a better photographer you would like the eye appeal here which is right up your alley.
