Did Topps have Photoshop in 1965?

I was just looking through my '65 team set, and ran across the entirely insignificant rookie card of Bob Locker and Greg Bollo. (Locker would actually go on to have a relatively successful career as a relief pitcher, but Bollo appeared in only 18 games and pitched 29.2 big league innings over the course of two seasons.) Anyway, I noticed that Locker's cap appears to be poorly "photoshopped" into the picture. It's offset to the right and, if real, Bollo's head would seem to be strangely tall or oblong. And the necessity to doctor the picture would make sense, since Bollo didn't appear in a game for the White Sox until May 9, 1965. Does anyone agree? If so, does anyone know when Topps began doctoring the photos on its cards?

Always looking for vintage White Sox cards at reasonable prices.
