We can't stress enough-the huge forigen PR Walker hoard that hung over the market for years is now disbursed. Prices WILL NOT stay this low much longer (not a pitch, but a promise).

Where does it say Spain, it says FORIGEN, I think that's in South America. image

Or is that slang for 'foraging', as in looking for something to eat?
Sorry, I have not read the article......but I have never known Proof walkers to be all that popular, so I don't see a reason for prices to rise now unless some marketer folks start buying them up.

How does one get excited over 7 years of mintage?

Well IMO most of them I have seen listed are overpriced, over-graded, and over hyped for their rarity, that has lead to few collectors going into them.
Now I have to ask why do hoards of American coins end up in foreign hoards?
May it be that ill gotten gains were stashed where they could not be easily found?

I enjoy short, focused sets, but I think I might be in the minority there.

I've decided recently to take a shot doing a complete set of proof sets from '36 to '42, so I hoping the prices on the walkers soften up a bit in the near term image

The hoard couldn't be from spain it seems like hoarding Walking liberty proofs would take a back seat to other things in the middle of a civil warimage

From the prior week's market report (7/7):

The massive hoard that Spain was dumping is now all sold. Included in the hoard was thousands of MS coins and hundreds of Proof Walkers.

If it were in Spain it would have been Furrin.
