  • I just never like seeing ball players sell off their personal memorabilia. I mean, the bike? That's a one of a kind from his teammates. And I'm sure other stuff. And Palmer selling his cy youngs? I can see loaning stuff out for display but to part with it for good?
    To each his own...

    Keep in mind that the amount of money Palmer will get for his Cy Youngs will each be a multiple of what he made in a year as a player. Also, some people don't really care about the actual hardware awards, what's more important to them is the accomplishment. Not speaking for Palmer of course.
