Anybody going to Chantilly this weekend...

My brother and I with our boys are heading up there Saturday. He's looking for Packers 8x10 autos. I'll be getting Mike Haynes to sign a mini and GLAC + minis from Ray Guy, Rod Martin, Mark Van Eeghan and then a signed SI from Rod Martin as well.
Looking for low #'d 2006 Marques Hagans + 1991 Wild Card stripes of UVA players - Tony Covington, Shawn Moore, Herman Moore

I live about 3 hours away and was planning on going. However, due to the 10 day black out of electricty my family endured, we are going to stay at home. I am 95% sure I will be going to the National, though. have fun, chantilly is a great show.

I will be there on Sunday. Doing my regular, pointless search for gradeable Bettis/Ward rookies, and the last 3 raw Casey Hampton and Chris Cooley RCs that I need.

Had a great time at the show today. Got my autos from Guy, Van Eeghan, and Martin. All 3 guys have great 'graphs and each was very pleasant and easy to talk to you. Martin thanked each person for all of their support. Van Eeghan asked my son's name and chatted him up. Guy's line moved very slow as he was chatting with everybody. This was 1st experience getting autographs in the forward area and I was very happy on how it went. Got my mini and GLAC for Mike Haynes. He was very pleasant as well, but his handler was about to have a hissy fit as a few folks behind were snapping pictures. Willie Roaf was signing next to Haynes so I got to watch him sign (his line was pretty short) and didn't look too thrilled to say the least. He seemed pretty quiet, but he was alowing people to take pictures with him (no smile though).

I looked through some quarter/dime boxes- bought a few Raiders. My son bought an ARod gu card, picked up some Skins cards, and an Anthony Armstrong auto'd 8x10. My brother picked up a lot of Packers stuff. 8-10 auto'd 8x10's, Super Bowl program vs Pats, Paul Hornung cover SI, and a Lombardi SLU. He also picked up a '12 Ginter box, '12 Leaf Ultimate box, and a '12 UD SP Signature mini box to bust later tonight.

Talked to a few dealers- they said it was pretty slow, but they were looking forward to a possible big crowd on Sunday as Hammerin' Hank will be in the house.

Great time had by all as my son said he's looking forward to going back in October.
