WAY-OT After two days at the WSOP Main Event my brother is in the top ten.

this is way OT and can be moved wherever the post police need it moved.

I am just excited and had to tell you guys.

My brother has 381,600 in chips and the average chip count is 110,000 at the start of Day 3.

Some of you don't play cards but pretty cool to see your brother on the front page of worldseriesofpoker.com on the leader board.

He also has pictures under the picture tab and his name is James Burns and they are on page 1 of the photos.

He is the enforcer of the family and the card player.

I have found that many collectors are card players (including many on this board). Need a fix.

Oh yeah, congrats to your brother, hopefully he can make the money.

Started collecting cards in '85, played my first poker game with my friends in '88. I have had torrid love affairs with both ever since.
This is truly awesome to hear. Will be keeping track of him. Good luck to your bro!

We used to play three card guts for our allowance with our dad back in the 80s/early 90s.

Our father taught us when we were knee high to play cards.

We played hold'em when Rounders came out.

He has a career in sales and does this for fun to chase a dream. However, this time he might catch it.

Yeah to be in preflop and go out like that is sick for your buddy.

Jim got to shove when he hit the flop if I remember it correctly and was ahead.

    Thanks guys.

I just want him to reach his dream.

He is at over a half million in chips at the end of level 13(or close to the end) and that puts him around 15th in chips with 950 players left.

Just awesome. I wish him the best.

Playing in the WSOP is has actually been a dream of mine since 1980ish when my Dad came back from Vegas with a Binions deck of cards and a story of the $1m in cash on display.

Was once chip leader with three left in a decent sized tourney. 3 pushed all in pre flop while I had AA. he was full of it with J7. Flop was 777... I cashed well, but needed therapy after that one.

Nathan ... James is hanging tough. Still at about the same chip level (346,000) and now sitting in 68th place. They are on a 90 minute dinner break now. After dinner, two more levels to be played tonight. ~350 more people need to be eliminated and he is in the money.

    GO GET 'EM JAMES!

Well, we are going by their chip counts and they are updating them and adding more players so it looks as though more like 25th.

At the beginning of the break 500K would have put you at 15th but as you can see they are updating stacks and have had ten more stacks added higher than 500k.

I am in Cincy taking our twins to see Voto and the Reds take on the Cards.

No matter where He finishes it has been so fun to watch him chase his dream.
