How Are .5 Grades Priced?

New member here, so forgive me if this has already been discussed in the past. Just got my first PSA grading submission back, and one card, a 1972 Roberto Clemente, got a 6.5 grade. In looking at the price guide, I didn't see prices for .5 grades. How can I price a 6.5 grade?

  • For cards graded 6.5 the price is determined by supply and demand

I used to just add the 7 grade with the 6 grade and divide by two.
  • I agree with bobby. For your Clemente, it is probably safe to average the SMR values for the 6 and 7.

In other examples, such as rarities, NV is right.

I am having a similar problem with a 8.5 1971 Killebrew. Difference between an 8 and a 9 is about $450.00 witch would mean my card is worth over $200.00.

Offered it on eBay with a opening bid of $200.00 and no bites. Was offered $125.00 for the card.

    Every one wants a bargain.

    Good luck with your Clemente.

Joe...$125 is a good price for the Killebrew...I just checked VCP, and average is $97. As a matter of fact, the all time high (according to VCP) is $127.50 back in January of 2010.
