Did that thread that contained video of Chris hedges by RR get nuked? anyway...

CH should be named Crazy Hiney instead.

He is definently as lost as a soul can get. An intelligent Lunatic. Wow ! How can anbody get so absolutely warped is beyond me. I thought we as human beings were supposed to be able to recognize garbage when we hear it or taught it and then reject it for the draught fodder it is. Some how twisted minds continue to live in a convoluted realm of their own and surround their selves with fellow dillusional ducks that quack out their feces for self feeding purposes.

Thats just plain crazy !

Thanks for post RR although it made me a little gaggish its good to know the level of zaniness that lurks and creeps out there.

No it wasn't nuked. It was still on the main Gold and Economic thread. I deleted the link.

If others want to view it they can search it out. Didn't get much total interest though it appears it's a polarizing topic/view.
Back in 2004 most every gold bug here was considered a whack job. It was still Dow 36,000 and Tom Vu Real Estate to the moon.

Now lets not compare making a an investment decision or determination of which currency rather fiat or hard to hold in 2004 to this raving sold soul lunatic.

now if you want to compare or associate as like manner Mao, Trotszky, Stallin, aftermath leaders of the middle stages of the French revolution, and all other twisted soul individuals then ok,
at least they would be in the same league. His rants lead to the same absolute destruction of the very things they proclaim at first to uphold- the people. Its just another rebranded self prescribed mass suicide.

    "...SET THIS COUNTRY STRAIGHT AGAIN..."

It would likely take a constitutional convention to set us on a common path again as the evolution we see now has resulted in an entrenched polarization of the inhabitants, each half pulling in a different direction. The problem is that a constitutional convention would result in unknown and likely dire consequences. It's a choice between a rock and a hard place. Doubtful that any more piecemeal adjusting and patching would give us a common ambition. You can only patch a tire so many times before it is unrepairable and then you have to get a new one. On the other hand, if the leadership would replace our abomination of a tax code with something simple and reasonable where everyone has some skin in the game instead of the current payer v.s. payee contest, we might be able to make our current constitution last another two hundred and thirty six years...or not.

Yes, I agree with this -- the tax code is a sad reflection on how disfunctional our system has become. I believe I can make a very strong argument that a vastly simplified tax code is consistent both with values that tend to be espoused by "liberals" and those that are said to be "conservative". A simple, broad based tax would benefit virtually everyone.

Everyone except the 25-30 Million Illegal Aliens and their numbers grow daily. Without rectifying that situation the whole game is up. California by far has the largest Illegal Alien presence
scoffing up their education monies, HUD housing, Welfare, Foodstamps, Medical, medicaid, uninsured motorist rates and on and on and on. It is just plain insanity for the unions, pensions, banks, and other segments to be used as the only scapegoats while the Real Overt problem of massive Illegal Immigration is not legitimately called out for its HUGE contribution to this nations demise.
