FSHO: 1852-C gold dollar NGC 58- Low mintage Charlotte-SOLD

I have an 1852-C NGC AU58 that I would sell at $3100. This date is very tough to find in a nice 58. The last one that Heritage has sold was about 5 years ago and the more recent sales of a AU 53 and 55 have been around $3000. My images are crap so I will do my best to describe the coin. The color is what you want to see in a Charlotte gold dollar, nice green gold. The luster is gorgeous, with more frostiness at the perimeter. It has a few tiny ticks but really no marks at all. I really don't see any actual circulation wear. The strike is pretty typical for this issue, a little weak at the hair curls and it has the typical weakness between the L and A on the reverse. There is some old dirt clinging to the letters on the reverse. A totally original coin!
