On 07/11/87, 25 years ago today, Billy Ripken was called up to the Orioles from Rochester and that evening, Cal Ripken Sr. penned him into the lineup making it the first time in baseball history that a manager managed TWO of his son's in a game....Pictured is a wirephoto regarding the event as well as a copy of the lineup card (note that current Rangers manager Ron Washington is in left) which is a valued part of my collection of Ripken memorabilia:
