For me, my hobbies come and go, but when they come, I am in deep 110%. Right now, it's firearms and prep for SHTF type stuff. Hot sauce is always way up on the list as is guitars. Still collect coins and hit these boards daily, but more into stacking silver now than collector coins.
Numismatics was my first and will be my last hobby. Many other hobbies have made life interesting - fly fishing, distance running, old cars, woodworking, 1911's, silversmithing. My latest obsession is acoustic guitars, I am drinking the Martin koolaid!

As far as collecting, coins are it and where most of the money goes. Lately its only upgrades.
But as far as hobbies I enjoy, it's making original stuff. I've gone through the a cnc mill phase and now I'm into 3D printing with my own Makerbot Replicator. It's an awesome unit that prints in a resolution far better than I expected. Last week I designed and printed a set of gears for a wire feed welder. not straight cut either, I did helical to reduce back lash. Worked great Oh and I fly FPV RC via a tri-copter. All self designed and very cool. Google it...
They include: Coins, golden age comic books, vintage pre-war baseball cards, Civil War artifacts, and Native American art and artifacts.
Numismatics is #1 for me.
I think primarily because of the history/rarity/stories they can tell and the fact that of all of my hobby interests, numismatics is the one hobby that my Dad was into when he was younger and is still interested in now.
<< <i>Less and less. Too many "deeks" in the hobby. Too many with strong (often strange) political beliefs (and some unfortunate side beliefs that tend to go with those politics).
Every time I see another whiner thread, the meter drops some more (eg: why dealers are such deeks, why didn't the dealer call me back, why does the mint make so many collector coins, why doesn't the mint make more collector coins, why the sticker company does or doesn't do certain things, why Ebay/Paypal/post office does or doesn't do certain things, why did so and so get bammed, why doesn't so-and-so get bammed). Satisfaction meter is pretty low right now. Whiner threads vs. numismatic/history threads, probably run 5 to 1 on this forum.
The local coin club hasn't helped my impression of fellow collectors--good percentage of deeks there. Lots of uneducated deeks too, that don't care about grading coins or quality for the grade, or history. Some barely care about coins. Yes, history gets lip service as it does on this forum, but maybe 1 in 10 show and tell presentations mention any real history, and that is usually me. The educational segment has been put on permanent hiatus because of lack of interest in the presentations. Again, lots of collectors with strong politics on both sides of the aisle and think a coin club is a place to flaunt that, and again, many with bizarre and unfortunate beliefs and behaviors that go along with those politics. >>
Can you spot the irony in this post?
Jokes aside, in order:
1. Being a Dad & Husband 2. Currency 3. Volkswagens 4. Comicbooks 5. Coins 6. Astronomy (telescope collecting and observing)
I have two hobbies that are both my favorites: collecting coins and watching my beloved football (soccer) team, Bolton Wanderers. Right now I am collecting commemorative 50p and £2 coins from circulation, which is lot of fun; the 50p's have an Olympic theme on them with 29 different designs. The £2 coins feature historical people and events which happened during the nineteenth-century.
And back in March, my sister and I went to NYC and I got a 1954-d wheatie in change!! That was neat.
Currently awaiting delivery of a 4 inch Jaegers F15 refractor telescope objective. That's a fairly substantial telescope, or it WILL be after I build it. Planning on plastic drainage pipe, a tall tripod and a pipe fitting mount. Kept simple, the excellent Jaegers lens will be acceptable for deep sky but will be amazing for lunar and planetary observation.

Walker Proof Digital Album Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Coins, Corvettes, road tripping, vintage photography (Civil War period), outdoor photography, older cameras, Civil War ID badges/army corps badges. I also must confess to having gone storm chasing on more than one occasion.

I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.

. One of those things is to buy coins over the Internet naked.

In that respect, it is more like my other 2 main hobbies these days: child care and home repair
They're all so different that it's difficult to rank them in a linear fashion
