Roosevelt Dime Variety Collectors – Help

Do any of you Roosevelt variety collectors have any idea what a 1968-S FS-801 in PCGS PR68CAM is worth?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Caleb

Is this a coin you own, or one you are looking to buy? Roosevelt varieties are tough to figure a set price on. It pretty much goes back to finding someone who needs it, wants it, and is willing to buy it. Then you need to work out the price. Tracking down one sold when it's pop is only 2 is going to be almost impossible. There are no D/cams, that helps, but there are 5-68's without the cameo. The coins weight is 3 with 1 for the cameo so a high price would make the non cams more attractive to your average buyer. So the 68Cam is more likely to attract the bigger money from the guys fighting for the #1-2 positions.
I hope you keep us informed on what happens on this. It's always great to learn from others experiences. image
