1959 Topps #317 Hitting kings

Looking to pick one up and noticed a kind of capital A above May's right shoulder. It's not on many of the ebay listed cards. I then looked at the # 2 PSA master set and he doesn't have one. Any thoughts out there?? TIA

    Not sure what that may be. Anyway. I have a nice one in a PSA 8 NQ I am looking to sell if you are interested. LMK.

    Roughly 1/4 or more of these cards have the A. Don't know if it was an initial flaw that was corrected of a printing flaw that occurred during some subsequent print runs, but they are not hard to find. Do not know why it has not gotten more recognition

    at one time i had 3 of them and all had the a on it
    always looking for 1969 graded basketball
