Who is this 1949 Philadelphia Phillies autograph?
I have this signed page of 1949 Philadelphia Phillies, but it has one signature I'm not familiar with. From top to bottom, it's Richie Ashburn, Lynwood Thomas "Schoolboy" Rowe, Ken Trinkle, ????????, Willie "Puddin' Head" Jones
Anyone know who the ???????? is?
Thanks,
Mike

It looks like he might have been the "trainer"?
Just a guess.

Frank J. Wiechec, 82, a former trainer for the Phillies, the Eagles and the short-lived Philadelphia Blazers, died Saturday at a retirement home in Wapwallopen, Pa.
Mr. Wiechec was a native of Philadelphia.
At Temple University, he starred on the track and field and swimming teams. He earned his degree in physical therapy at Temple, then went on to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. There, working with Dr. Frank Krusen, Mr. Wiechec started a physical therapy department. Among his patients were a son of President Franklin Roosevelt and baseball greats Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth.
Good call lamontcarter.

I laughed
He's included in the 1955 Felin's Franks Phillies issue. Although there is some reasonable speculation that those cards were never actually issued in packages of hot dogs.
<< <i>. . . and he has a baseball card!

Any chance you have a scan of that one, Bob? I've seen it on the checklist, but have never even seen a scan of the actual card.
