This item arrived from Great Britain today:

image

The Pharoah faces left and the Sphinx faces right.

It is similar to the Egypt Magic Coins I already have, but the figures are different.

This is a generic American Egypt Magic Coin:

The Pharoah faces forward and the Sphinx faces half-left.

There is more about these items on my website.

Those are pretty cool. Are you sure it's not the Colossus of Memnon statue on the obverse facing left?

Hey, WB2, I just bought a 13-pound bag full of tokens and miscellaneous exonumia, and guess what I found! image

It's silver colored. I think it has the watch fob attachment. Haven't pulled it out of the bag yet- it's at home and I'm at work- but I saw it pass by when I was pawing through the pile and said, "Aha!"

Wouldn't have had a clue to its origins, if it hadn't been for your website.

PS- speaking of tokens, click my current sigline link and watch "Dirty Movie" #06, if you wanna see me dig up my current avatar.

I'll have to dig it out and scan it when I get home.

There was some other interesting stuff in the lot. I haven't even begun to fully paw through it yet.

I even found an 1812 Canadian token and two US Hard Times tokens in there, but they were very low grade.

    OK, I am home now.

I misremembered the part about the fob attachment being there. Must've confused it with some of the other pieces in the bag.

Anyway, here 'tis. Sorry about the poor focus on these quickie, handheld photos.
