I've always liked the 83F set and I think it's neat that he has it almost completed........Geeze, I finished the 1983 Donruss Action All Star set and that only had 59 guys (plus one checklist) in 15 years!

Hey Ironmanfan, do you have any extras of the 83 Action All Stars autographed? I have about half the set that I got in person at ballparks and card shows in the mid 1980's. Just a few years ago, I realized I had about half of the set and most of the Hall of Famers. So I was thinking about trying to complete it. Please let me know.
    Thanks,

I've had that blog bookmarked for a while. Nice to put a face and story with the project. I love the '83 Fleer set.

He paid $52 for Pete Vukovich. Is he that tough a signer? I always hear about Mike Marshall (the pitcher) being tough but I don't recall Vuk being a tough one to get.

Grote - I doubt it but do you need Greg Luzinski? I think my son has one and I could see if I can talk him into trading it or something.

I know Scott is a member of "The Bench". I have traded with him a few times there.

    Seems like a good guy.

After those four National League games, Gorman Thomas was never the same, and neither were the Brewers, and come to think of it neither was I.

If I remember correctly, Vuke hates signing. I think he announced last year that he was not doing any more public signings, not that he did very many in the first place.

Pete Vuckovich did a signing about 3+ years ago. The promoter said this would be Vuckovich's only and last signing. Fee was $135. I paid it..............six month later Vuckovich did another signing with another promoter.............fee was $50....I was pissed!!
