This seems like a good deal.

I received this in an e-mail.

$28.91 each with a buy back at $27.52 (Spread of $1.39)

But, it looks like the S&H is $19.95 (I plugged in an order of 10 bars just to see what the S&H would be)

The last time I purchased silver from Apmex, silver had fallen from the low 20s down to 17, and they had a 99c over spot sale. I purchased 10 5-oz bars, so the shipping wasn't bad per oz, but I was surprised when they came without insurance.

ALWAYS factor in S&H in online orders from apmex/everywhere, plus the 3% CC fee too if you're not cutting a check to them and willing to wait a while.

I only buy stuff online anymore if it's something specific I'm looking for.

yeah, the shipping kills those deals for me most of the time. For just $1 over that you can get a monster box with free shipping. image Or find a good deal on the BST or PM BST shipped.

Not a bad deal for new stuff and if you don't own any now. I've bought several deals like this, and these are good for the books... Maybe if you buy 20 or 30+ the shipping differential is a little better. Check. But for 10 or less, when no better deal is handy, so what...

And you may find something in the clearance section to add. I always used a check, and wait the 3 weeks. You save on gas. Half the time my local may have an equivalent of say $29.50 for rounds, but from more limited stock, used, odd types, and condition, and gas to go there - but you may not have a better B+M deal handy. Silvertowne is the same end result price delivered. I usually order at the lowest spot late or early am. I don't think much of the buy-back, as you can sell them yourself. But don't buy them to sell. Keep em.

I did good on the BST thread with 'PiecesofMe' and will get more as basic items are listed. I always get the itch when I see these sales, so its off to pawn shop tomorrow. Let me see, 53 of these or an oz of gold... hummm
