3 coins I know nothing about, any help would be appreciated.

A family member contacted me about these 3 coins looking for help.

I have a feeling the larger two may be counterfeits but I have no idea.

Thank you for you time.

All three look legit. The first one looks like a greek but could be middle eastern. Thats out of my area. But most likely the most valuable of the three.

The second is an Antoninianus of Roman Emperor Postumus (260 - 269 A.D.), in that shape its about $30 on a good day at the most.

Third is the most common emperor to buy, Gordian III (238 - 244 A.D.), it too is an Antoninianus. In that shape, $25. Toss the coin in some lemon juice to remove the green it could be a $35 coin.

  • First one appears to be a silver Persian Siglo dating c. 500-330 B.C-- King with spear on the front, punchmarks on the reverse.
