Some newps with pictures
I decided to take a crack at imaging some stuff since I've been lazy and have not taken a single coin picture in months. I'll update with some other newps from the last few months as I get them imaged.

Picked me up one of those FSNC award winning nickel sets. This is the matte coin.

And the proof -- starburst much?

Another proof -- I need to work on my skills with imaging these things.

Let's see it against a different background first. The black isn't helping. MJ
Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

Don't think this makes much of a difference. Going to just reshoot it, I suppose.

<< <i>Add a third bulb. I shoot with three. I find 2 makes it a bit too dark. 4 sometimes is even required. Also, bump yourself to some 100 watters. The higher the wattage, the brighter the lights. Therefore the quicker the exposure can be. The quicker you can fire the shutter, the sharper the shot becomes. >>
2 bulbs can be plenty of light. 2 bulbs also helps show more relief. Don't ever get stuck on one lighting setup.
