Advice on small group of 1954 Topps Baseball

I'm refocusing my collection and would like to hear advice on a group of (~40) PSA 9 1954 Topps Baseball Commons and minor stars (Ashburn probably the biggest). Should I sell them through:

1) Sell them myself on ebay (don't think this is the best choice- 100% rating with 1200 feedback - mainly as a buyer)
2) Ebay auction "house" - Probstein or PWCC
3) Larger auction house - Mile High, Memorly Lane, etc.

Thanks for your opinions in advance.
My favorite ball players throughout the years: Hank Aaron, Dale Murphy, Ellis Burks, Lance Berkman

  • If you do not wish to try selling them yourself I would talk with board member CDsNuts about consigning them with him.

Sell them yourself! It's not THAT much of a hassle.

I would go with Rick and make sure they are all listed individually. I believe you would net more in your pocket than if you sold them yourself on eBay. GOOD LUCK!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

If you have the time go with #1. The advanced collector will have no problem finding them.

(If they were 7's and 8's I'd say go with #2 or #3))

I'm putting this set together myself in PSA 7-8 condition. Those 9's are some high dollar cards. I would try option 1 myself. You can always resort to option 2 if it doesn't work out.
